IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are ordering a replacement cartridge for a VitaShower SF1 you purchased before 2011, make sure the filter base of your SF1 unscrews. If it does not, you will need to purchase a whole unit first, then in the future you can order the replacement cartridge.
How long the VitaShower lasts depends on how much chloramine and chlorine is in your water and the frequency and length of showers. In extreme cases, people only get three to six months, but most people get six months to a year.
