Chloramine is a mixture of chlorine and ammonia, which is added to the water of many cities as a substitute for free chlorine. What Type of Water Filter Removes Chloramines?
We carry three different lines of water filters that remove chloramines from the water:
- Seychelle portable water filters remove both chloramines and chlorine. They are available in a Water Bottle, Canteen, Countertop Pitcher and Water Pump for Camping, Travel or Emergency Water
- VitaShower Vitamin C shower filter and VitaBath Vitamin C tablets for the bath and spas. Both remove chloramines and chlorine.
- CuZn KDF85 water filters for the shower, bath, kitchen sink, refrigerators and whole house. The shower and bath filters also remove some chlorine (their KDF 55 filter is designed for those who only have chlorine), and the kitchen, refrigerator and whole house models remove chloramines plus many more water contaminants, including THMs, VOCs, disinfection byproducts, herbicides, pesticides, chemicals, heavy metals and more.
