A UV (UltraViolet) Germicidal lamp sterilizes antigens, pathogens and mold spores as they are trapped on the filters. Airpura's UV lamp has 17 inches of germicidal surface U shaped lamp, which is twice the length of other makes and twice as effective. The UV lamp comes standard on the P600, P600+ and UV600 and is an upgrade option for the I600.
